After qualification in the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1991, I initially worked in Newcastle Dental Hospital before undertaking a teaching and research post for Newcastle University. After two years, I realised that my passion lay in general practice, and I have been following this path since 1993.

I graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in 2000. After working as a community dentist in a rural hospital for a year, I went to the UK and practiced general dentistry there for 2 years before moving to New Zealand in 2004. I have been working in the Wellington region since then.

I graduated from Hiroshima University in 1998 with a degree in Dentistry. I worked in a hospital dental department for the first three years of my career, and then spent thirteen years working in general practice in Japan. I moved to New Zealand in 2011.

My working experience in the dental industry started some 35 years ago in Australia. After moving to New Zealand and having a 10 year break while becoming a full time mum of 4, I had the pleasure of commencing work with Laurence in 2006.

I have worked in the dental industry since 2006 and at this practice since 2015. I am a qualified dental assistant, and have performed roles in dental practice from reception through to manager.

I started working as a dental assistant in 1997 for Earle Kirton and qualified in 2003. After working with Earle, I took a break from dentistry and worked as a postie in Johnsonville for seven years.
