I graduated from Hiroshima University in 1998 with a degree in Dentistry. I worked in a hospital dental department for the first three years of my career, and then spent thirteen years working in general practice in Japan. I moved to New Zealand in 2011.

I then had a break from dentistry, looking after my 3 children and studying towards my NZ certification. I started working as a dentist in Wellington in 2018.

I enjoy denture treatment and preventative dentistry, and believe the best treatment is to help the patient maintain good oral hygiene.

In my spare time I like spending time with family, reading books, walking and Kyudo (Japanese archery).
